This is a “Smart Trash Can,” a trash can that automatically opens and closes using ultrasonic sensors to detect objects in front of it.

The components we used to build this smart trash can are a trash can, IOBIT, Mikrobit, jumper cables, servos, and a USB data cable.

This trash can helps us so that when we want to throw away trash, we don’t have to hold the lid.
